When I was struggling to work out why my digital magazine wasn’t being read by the number of adopters I expected, I longed for some support I could dip in and out of. I didn’t have a huge budget (I didn’t have one at all!) and I was short on time. It took me a long time to find something that did that. And when I did, it made all the difference.
That’s why I created The SEO Club Membership. It’s the exact resource I wish had been around when I was dipping my toes into the world of search engine optimisation and website visibility.
This blog post explores what the Club is, what type of support it provides and who it’s designed for.
Straightforward SEO support
For many small business owners and founders, SEO are three letters that either make their eyes glaze over, or run for the hills. Search engine optimisation has a reputation for being complicated, tech-heavy, time-consuming, and expensive to get help with.
I’m on a mission to bust all of those myths.
At its core, SEO is about connection. Connecting through your website with the people you can help.
To do that, you need to have certain things in the right places.
The starting point is always using the right words. They’re the ones people type into Google or AI at 2am because they’re looking for a solution to a problem they have that you can solve.
If you use those words in key places across your website, they’ll attract Google and AI’s attention, which potentially shows your website high up in search results, or use the content from your website to formulate a response to answer your question.
Once you’ve got their attention, both those types of platforms will then scan your site and look at things like how easy it is to navigate, how long people stay on it and the quality of your content.
If all of those things impress them, they’ll show your site to the people whose problem you can solve.
It really can be as simple as that.
SEO Myths
SEO has a bit of a bad reputation, which I think is a bit unfair. Big agencies would like small business owners and founders to believe that SEO is ALL about tech and complicated phrases like disavow.
It can be about those things. But it doesn’t need to be.
It’s too complicated
Technical SEO can be complicated if you don’t know your way around all of the parts of the backend of your website. But you don’t need that to attract more of your dream clients to your website.
There are lots of simple changes you can make to the words, where they’re used, how easy it is to get around your site, and the type of content you publish, that will have a huge impact on how easy it is to find your website in search results and AI.
It takes too much time to work on
If you’ve got oodles of spare time, fill your boots and spend all of it working on your website. But you don’t need to, to be able to make the changes that will have a big impact.
Little and often is best.
Firstly, because that helps to manage overwhelm and stop you feeling like you’ve got too much to do. And secondly, it becomes easier to know what to do if you’re working on it regularly.
It’s too expensive to get help
It can be. But it doesn’t have to be.
I’m passionate about making SEO support accessible for small business owners and founders. I’ve created payment plans to make it easier to pay for my DIY resources like SEO Jumpstart where you can pay in 2 or 3 installments meaning you can join from as little as £83 and get instant access to the course.
My SEO Audits are packed full of value and give you so much more than just an audit of your website. At £595 they’re accessible in terms of price, and again, you csan pay in installments if you choose the PayPal option at checkout.

The SEO Club Membership – the support system I wish I’d had
I created my digital adoption magazine because it’s the resource I wish had been around when we started to think about adopting.
The SEO Club Membership was created because it’s the support system I wish I’d had when I started to learn about search engine optimisation.
I know that not everyone enjoys doing courses, but they need a support system they can tap in and out of when they need it. That’s exactly what the membership is.
I’ve designed it so you get accountability as well as learning and support, on your terms. If you can’t attend live accountability sessions, we can do them via email. You can access the recorded workshops whenever it suits you, whether that;’s during the working day, or at 1am when you’re feeding your baby.
So far, the workshops have covered areas like keyword research and placement, on-page SEO, creating content that grabs attention and the basics of Google Analytics and Search Console.
There’s over 20 prompts to use during the accountability sessions so if you’re struggling to know where to start or what area to work on, you can pick one and go with it.
I know that small business owners and founders are time-poor, so the accountability sessions and recorded workshops are short and to the point. Accountability sessions are just 20 minutes because you can get a lot done in short, focused pockets of time.
The key is doing them regularly.
The cost of the SEO membership
There are different price points for the membership, depending on whether you want PAYG or a longer-term commitment. The monthly membership is £24.99. There’s no minimum contract so you can cancel whenever you want to. I ryn different offers throughout the year for 6-monthly and annual memberships which give you a saving over a monthly membership. A 6-month membership is currently £99 if you use code CLUB26.
This is what one member had to say about it:
“The membership was great – the accoutability sessions are brilliant for making sure you work on your SEO continuously, rather than leaving it to become something you get round to once in a while. Suzy is so knowledgeable and really happy to share advice and help you out if you’ve got any questions.” Frances, Spiral Blue VA.
